Method 1
Use AI Product Photography websites. The issue with them is that most of their results are unrealistic. And chance for a good result is unpredictable.
Method 2
Using general purpose generative AI tools to create background images with placeholder products. Like in this case, a small black jar. This gave me realistic shadows and reflections. And I simply composited the actual product on top.
Method 3
Method 2 didn’t work well when there were more than one products in the image. Like product bundles. The AI generation became far more unpredictable with two focal points. So I decided to instead use the AI to generate just the background images. This allowed me to carefully direct the environment. And then use Photoshop’s own AI tools to create realistic shadows and reflections of the actual products
